Board Of Directors List

Loretta Washington
President
Loretta is one of the founding members of The HENS and currently serves as President. She brings a wealth of leadership experience in health care administration and technology, using her skills to guide the organization with vision and purpose.
From a young age, Loretta was inspired by her mother’s compassion and commitment to helping those in need. That early influence sparked a lifelong passion for service. She firmly believes that her calling from God is to help others—and she embraces that calling with grace, humility, and dedication.
Loretta lives by the belief that she is blessed to be a blessing, and she leads The HENS with that same heart for service and community impact.

Kimberly A. Ross
Treasurer
I am a proud founding member of The HENS, established in 2016 out of deep friendships and a shared passion for helping others. I currently serve as Treasurer, where I am honored to support our mission and ensure that our work continues to make a lasting impact.

Shelia Stephens
Secretary
Before working for the state of California I was studying to become a social worker, but
at the time I was young and didn’t know what all it entailed.
I was introduced to the HENS by Beatrice Symns in 2018. I was intrigued by what they
represented and their purpose to help those that are struggling with, mental illness,
addiction as well as a host of other missteps in life.
Hopefully by being a part of this non-profit I can make a little difference not only in the
communities of Sacramento but also in someone’s day by speaking a kind word or
giving a HEN Pack.

Denise D. Davis
Director of Event Planning
Denise is one of the founding members of The HENS. Her passion is people. Denise has never met a stranger and treats everyone as her friend! Her need to help the less fortunate is a true calling from God and her mission is to fulfill His will.

Theresa Menfee
Director of Public Relations
Join the HENS in 2015. After retiring from the Dept. Of Corrections. I have always wanted to give back to my community and provide basic needs for the homeless. In addition to having faith and love for all God's children assisting the homeless communities is a blessing.
